In the third quarter of 2021, the Egyptian Android market saw significant activity in the third-person games category. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five games, with data provided by Sensor Tower.

Subway Surfers from SYBO Games experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $498 in the week of August 30. Weekly downloads showed a significant rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching 257K in the week of September 13. The game maintained a strong active user base, with a slight increase from 2.26M at the start of the quarter to approximately 2.38M by the end.

Going Balls by Supersonic Studios LTD saw a gradual decline in downloads, from 196K in the week of June 28 to about 68K by the end of September. The game’s revenue started to pick up in September, with weekly figures reaching $43. Active users showed a downward trend, ending the quarter with around 233K.

Doll Designer, published by Lion Studios, displayed a rapid increase in downloads early in the quarter, peaking at 258K in the week of August 30. Active users followed a similar trend, reaching a high of 480K in the same week before declining to approximately 197K by the end of September.

Hair Challenge from Rollic Games experienced a steady decline in downloads throughout the quarter, starting at 215K in late June and dropping to around 65K by the end of September. Active users also decreased gradually, from 598K at the beginning of the quarter to about 317K by the end.

Finally, PUBG MOBILE by Level Infinite maintained a strong performance in terms of revenue, consistently earning between $46K and $56K weekly. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at approximately 124K in mid-September. The game also saw a decline in active users from 2.92M at the start of the quarter to around 2.20M by the end.
